ActiveFacility was established by Cameron Stephenson in January 2003.

Cameron is a Brisbane-based (Australia) technical computing expert with an architectural background. He has more than 20 years’ experience implementing complex technical computing solutions for engineers in the construction, military and telecommunications industries in 12 countries.

Cameron has designed and implemented systems to solve the following common requirements:

• Centralised storage of project data
• Access to the data for project personnel
• Reuse of the data over the lifecycle of the facility.

Projects Cameron has implemented include:

• Massive mapping and concurrent engineering systems for the national telecommunications companies in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Macau and Canada
• Large scale Middle East military projects
• Technical computing systems for construction projects at various stages in the construction lifecycle (project development, detailed design documentations, construction management and facilities management)
• Software development and business process re-engineering projects for the total re-organisation of government departments.
